Hey guys Sig here, and today we will be talking about Free PC audio Editor Software. So
you want to start a Podcast? How about a #Youtube Channel, or a audio book? Well like many out there you have to have the right software for these type of applications. This might seem like a daunting task at first, so I am here to help take off the stress in doing so. I will provide a link, and a description for each one, so you can make good choice on the software you download. So lets get started shall we?
Software - Audacity: Link
Audacity is a free, easy-to-use, cross-platform audio editor and recorder for Windows, Max OS X, and Linux. This is by far has been my number one software pick out of the three. The ease of use, and learning curve has served me great under the years. The only downside is that you have to download a 3rd party .dll first to unlock the full ability in .mp3 editing power.
Software - Ocenaudio: Link
Ocenaudio is a cross-platform, that is fast, and easy-to-use audio editor. Like Audacity, it supports Windows, Max OS X, and Linux. This program supports the VST(Virtual Studio Technology) plugin, giving users access to numerous effects. This seems like a very nice alternative to Audacity, and I suggest downloading it, and giving it a try.
Software - Wavosaur: Link
Wavosaur is a cool free audio editor, for .wav, and .mp3 file types. This program has no installer, and doesn't write in your computer's registry. It only supports Windows 98, XP, and Vista. I for one see potential in this little application as it is easy to use, fast, and completely mobile from computer to computer through a flash drive. The only downside for this is that it does not have any support for Mac or Linux users. Lets hope a future version will.
Well there you have it guys, a list of three good audio editor's to try. I hope this will help you build your next project. I will review more software, and even more audio editors in future blogs so as always guys, stay savvy!
